I don't know. Sounds to me like the guy had a psychotic episode. I've seen and heard this many times without drugs being involved. Feel sorry for the guy.

yes, he honestly was in a world of his own......

he was very wild eyed like Ollie McCall was around the time he was troubled...

McCall was on drugs. But the guy who had spirit possession, who knows. BigCat, why do you think Ike went off the rails. Was it always there, or did somethng happen?

one question: has friday ever been hit by someone of tua's ferociousness.

i just don't see any of the heavies withstanding tua's punches except probably vitali klitschko.

I think in that Kevin Barry article he said Friday had sparred with Tua back in the day for about 40 rounds or something and there was no knock down or knock out and Tua only rocked him once. That being said it was Kevin Barrys greasy toupee doing the talking. I think in an actual fight it's going to be a lot different.

And 16 ounce gloves. Just saw them both on Close-up, an interview show in NZ. Both Friday and Tua were subdued and non-talkative. Focussed. Tapia and CK talked a little, but not much. Interviewer didn't know what else to ask. Weigh in tomorrow at noon. I'll be there.

Tua did the job well, a great next step if he is serious would be Povetkin .. It wont happen but it would be explosive, he hurt friday with odd shots because he threw punches from obscure angles........

Good job by Tua against Friday.

If Tua can renegotiate the Maori TV deal, maybe he can go directly to big fights right away and not lose any money. If not, he should set up a fight with WBO#14 Welliver and have #13 Basile and #16 Leapai fight on his undercard, setting up his next opponent, finishing his commitment with Maori and sealing his WBO#1 ranking for good. Mid\Late may and July would be the ideal dates to make these fights.
