Twenty One Years Ago Today, Holyfield stops Tyson

I was 9 years old at the time and my parents ordered the fight on PPV and invited some of their friends over to see the fight. Right when the fighters were being presented, my mom made me go to bed.

 

Ahhhh bad..Hard to forgive even a mother for that

 

I finally did when YouTube came around. I often wondered if that should have been considered child abuse.

I was at that fight. The atmosphere in that arena was truly surreal. Unlike any other sporting event I have attended. You could literally feel the electricity.

 

I probably had fallen asleep by the time Holyfield stopped Tyson.

 

I think yes, it could be deemed as child abuse to some extent.
