Did anyone else listen to the latest BN podcast with Matt Christie and Tyan Booth. I thought Tyan Booth was an excellent guest / pundit. What he didn't have in broadcasting polish he more than made up for in honesty openness and general straight talking. Basically he was interesting to listen too. Obviously these attributes will never get him a job on Sky Sports but as he is someone who is looking to get into the media side of boxing it would be great if someone took a punt on him. I look forward to hearing him on next weeks pod to see how it goes next time.
Yes mate, I did. I was cringing a lot of the time because he made a few comments that I still can't believe they went out with... Lee Froch and Tyson Fury for example. Will let serious people listen to it rather than start outrage. Funny thing is he can box a bit at a level. But he was pretty much clueless in terms of knowledge of fighters outside his own weight division and world level. However, he was brutally honest and I love listening to sparing stories and such. Most intriguing thing I have heard this week.
Listened to the whole thing but almost fell asleep and didn't register if he said anything about Lee Froch at all. Might have been one short comment. That fat clown isn't relevant anyway. I didn't even know he existed until the Groves fight.
