I really like watching Tye Feilds fight. He's entertaining as hell, but the guy isn't going anywhere.

Valuev would have killed Barrett had Barrett's corner not thrown in the towel. Fields is slow but throws a lot of punches per rnd.
I'll take Fields by TKO over damaged goods (Thanks to Valuev) Barrett.

If Barrett has anything left at all then he should win this fight. I used to be a Fields apologist, but that was years ago, and he still hasn't seemed to show much improvement. His stamina is the only impressive thing, but I think any boxer with any amount of skill and even an ounce of power should be able to beat Barrett. However, Top Rank is looking to cash out on Fields so it's possible "they know something," about Barrett that we don't. Barrett has been highly inactive and not exactly spectacular in his last few outings. I'm picking Barrett to win only because Fields lack of any skill.

I live the tag line for this fight, *They'll never see eye to eye!* Awesome line.

Fields is only a couple inches shorter than Valuev, but seems to be alot more powerful . Fields probably has a mule kick of a KO shot if he were to improve his skill to where he can make the most of his power.

I have doubts about Tye Fields ever really establishing himself as a force in the division. Sure, he's big, strong, and has devastating power, but at the age of 33, he's painfully untested and Monte Barret is not the kind of calibur opponent that will tell us anything about Fields true abilities. If Tye is going to make a name for himself, he needs to leave the shroud of protection that Bob Arum has looming over him, because time is running out.
