He was still with the Duvas for the Damiani fight, its a common misconception that they split after Tyson.
He had no choice but to have a year out after Tyson, due to plastic surgery on cut tissue. I think you are a little harsh regarding the Occasio fight, but i know he wasnt a big puncher. If he won fights behind his jab he was called boring.
He lacked real Power to get him outta trouble , that i cannot disagree with.
I think one of his best displays was versus Bowe. A good fight if you've never seen it.
After Damiani , Jimmy Young coached him, he was with him for the Mason fight. Gary Mason was ranked 4 or 5 by all the governing bodies , Biggs shouldve won that fight but ran out of gas.

I don't think so. I don't believe Morrison carried his power into the mid rounds that well much less the late rounds. Tommy was so heavily muscled and threw so many power shots in the early rounds. Usually his mouth was hanging open by the end of the 3rd. A good boxer like Biggs can and would exploit this.

Oh yes. I went to a few of his fights but not that one. In fairness Mr M , he had a run of defeats, Tyson,Damiani,Mason.
Occasio was second fight back from that lot and i remember his plan was just to stick to the jab and get a win at all costs.
Backstage in Milan after Damiani he was so down. He lost on a deep gash on his eyelid, having had plastic surgery on the other one !
He had to have another year out. People dont always see what these guys go through.
Those weak punches you say in the Occasio fight would still put the average persons lights out.

I think the fight would be back and forth. Morrison getting to Biggs in spurts while Biggs controls a lot of the action with his jab on the outside. Morrison needs to stop Biggs to win if they go to a decision I think Biggs comes out on top.
