Right here I go....call me a conspiracy theorist if you have to, But something about this fight just don't sit right with me.

First of all we know Zeuge is unhappy at not getting into the WBSS tourney (which is run by his own promoters!) so there's that.

Secondly I recall reading a few articles where Zeuge was trying to get out of his promotional agreement with the Sauerlands. The reason above being one of them, but also because apparently there's another promoter in Germany who's supposedly 'taking over' if you will and paying more money.

Lastly, a Twitter page also tweeted that they believe Zeuge was *allegedly* going to take a dive.

He also looked pretty darn chuffed and relaxed to have lost that fight just then didn't he...

    Hmmm, talk to me guys

EDIT: trying not to take anything away from Rocky, genuinely delighted for him. He did exactly what he had to do. But something about this fight is screaming at me

Braehmer was giving sauerland both barrels after the Fight, you aren't the only one who thinks it stinks. More worrying fir Me though is Paul Smith still doing punditry. Does he have photos of sky execs sucking off Shetland ponies or something?

I think if he meant to lose he’d do it in a better way for himself. He took some big shots in there and was genuinely hurt. If he wanted to lose surely he could have took a light one behind the ear, faked some wobbly legs and not got up. The scrambled sense type of shot boxers and commentators go on about.

The whole thing was a little odd. I thought Zeuge would outbox him in a close fight but he looked absolutely spent after 3 rounds which is very much unlike him. And as stated didn't even look bothered after the fight.

I'm not so sure about foul play incidentally, just seemed a bit odd

i reckon he took a dive so that brahemer can fight fielding, cos after the fights brahmer was saying to fielding we should fight, wouldnt be suprised if thats rockys next fight

i normally HATE these sorts of things, but I see where you're coming from. Zeuge looked strange from the get go and i've never seen him like that. but i did notice his mouth was open a lot and it looked more like something was wrong with him, than him throwing the fight. but either way, there was something wrong with Zeuge

I just don't think Zeuge was or is as good as some people believed. I personally couldn't believe the odds before the fight, amazing really, I had the 5/1 for Rocky to win by KO, I thought it was great value.

Anyway Zeuge was just a European level fighter with a regular world title, I'm not saying European level is a bad level but he certainly isn't world level.

I believe he just didn't fancy it when it got on top, he came out fast, threw lots of punches, didn't put a dent in Fielding, started to blow a little and when Fielding started throwing punches back he folded.

I won't say he took a dive, I wouldn't want to take anything away from Fielding, Fielding went to Germany as an underdog and won, superb achievement all things considered.

We will get a better idea about Zeuge if and when he returns and how he performs.

Something was DEFINITELY off. Zeuge looked disconcentrated, lunged it with shots and had sloppy technique.....HOWEVER I'm glad Rocky is now a world champion, albeit having a fake belt.

Zeuge got outworked by Fielding, whom although not possessing world level or even fringe level skills, punches like a mule. He is very heavy handed, particularly early in a fight, and that takes it out of you. He threw twice as many shots as Zeuge.

Zeuge fights on the front foot and is there to be hit. He underestimated Fielding imo.

Well what do ya know, Zeuge has now officially ended his contract with the Sauerlands. Also just been confirmed that Kubrat Pulev has payed to terminate his contract with the Sauerlands.
