At 205 he could do pretty well, but do you think he can make weight? He weights something like 230 even if he can make weight when he gets older he might has to fight at HW
I want to see high class strikers in MMA - boxers, kickboxers etc and then I want to see them add grappling to their game so I can see the sport taken to the next level. I feel wrestling and jits is embraced 100% but I want to see loads of top strikers. Really good strikers who don't think "double leg" when they get caught!
Brilliant place to start training. If he shows decent TDD then he could be a real force, also i reckon that 205 isn't a stretch at all, he fought at Cruiserweight for a while in K-1 didn't he? It wouldn't suprise me if he forced himself upto Heavy for the big money that used to be available in the GP.
Spong can make 205. He's a small heavyweight and a very soft one at that. He'd make the weight with ease.
