Always thought Peter was a calming influence on a sometimes erratic Tyson. A guy that Fury had respect for as well in and out of the ring. Why the split?
Loads of different rumours , Tyson said he was ripped off by family members after the Klitschko fight so some say something to do with that. But I just don't think Tyson could hack Peter's n nonsense approach and his training methods . They had a big fall out leading upto the Wlad rematch where Tyson was apparently put on his arse in training by a light heavyweight and Peter told him to leave the gym he doesn't train people who want to fuc k about. Told him to go away for a couple of days and sort his head out if h is hearts not in it and he's only fighting for the money , Peter was not willing to train him anymore.
Yeah I heard that too except it was a light middleweight by all accounts and Tyson was eating a kebab between rounds
