    Mike Tyson’s upcoming trip to New Zealand has been shut down because his visa was cancelled due to his 1992 **** conviction.

    See date of article 4/10/12. Perhaps NZ are a few days behind us. Some might even suggest a few years.

    I saw an article the other day where a right wing, serving Dutch politician with no criminal convictions is waiting for a visa to Oz while a Muslim fundamentalist with some convictions was allowed to come over on a speaking tour.

    Meanwhile, a bit of common sense could be applied to a seemingly rehabilitated public figure like Tyson. Perhaps after the recent James Graham incident they're cracking down on foreign ear biters

    Not something that interests me

    However I have no problem with anyone coming here as long as they reach visa requirements, I'm all for free speech, there's laws to adhere to, if they breach these then they suffer the consequences
