REFORMED former boxing champion Mike Tyson managed to secure a visa to come to Australia - despite his high-profile 1992 **** conviction in the US - for his speaking tour (yes, a speaking tour) next month. A little less challenging for his Australian promoter, Max Markson, will be meeting his very specific backstage requirements.

Tyson's ''rider'' clause in his contract reveals that he is a vegan and a tee-totaller. He has requested a veritable smorgasbord of herbal teas with ample supplies of fruit, nuts, water and honey in his dressing room.

And don't expect any dodgy types in his entourage - these days Tyson travels with his wife, Kiki, and two children, both under four, as well as, wait for it, his mother-in-law.
