If you watch the film Tyson flips Lewis over, literally, it happens so fast there was no way he could have bit him at that particular time (when this photo is taken). If a bite did occur it probably happened when they were on the floor under the pile of people that resulted.
I don't think the bite happened in that instant. Lewis claims Tyson bit him while they were rummaging around in the pile.
I do have to admit that Tyson owned Lewis in that altercation. You have to give Tyson the nod in the war of the worlds, and the prefight fights.
Some bite did probably occur because I remember a judge ruled in Lennox' favor and Tyson had to pay some hefty fine for an alleged bite.

it was just a nibble. in the end...it worked out for lennox. Tyson was on a streak and off his meds. the fight happened on the condition he takes his meds. ...he took his meds and was in another world...even the interview before he came to the ring...he was grey.
I do believe it was all a pre-planned thing that went wrong! You take your chances with Tyson! If you look at when Tyson throws a left hook at someone in Lewis' camp, its as if he telegraphs the shot on purpose so as not to actually land on the guy. But when Lewis intervened the way he did, I believe the scheduled plan went out the window in Tyson's mind & he thought something along the lines of "I'll show you Lennox!" And the guy in the audience, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it was Scoop Milanski, who said about Tyson being in a straight jacket, he got a lot more than he bargained for! Where was he when Tyson invited him up to the podium? Lol
