Do you think this is a good move by Tyson?

It can't do any harm but,

Too many voices in one corner isn't good, who does he listen too????

He needs only one telling him what to do to have his full attention....

Would've been better if he had him in his corner in the 12 weeks leading up to the fight, never mind the fight itself.

Already seen threads about this, but for me it raises questions due to Peter/John not being in his corner due to outside issues. Roach will definitely offer valuable insight, but it does seem a bit of a questionable and spur of the moment decision the more I think about it. Hatton will also be in his corner out there.

Probably having a few doubts about his trainer which is understandable given his experience!

Hopefully it doesn’t end up ugly like Price and Lewis did. Price has said he didn’t have a clue who to listen to in the end.

Its a wise move in my book to not rely only on fitness first gym trainer Ben to offer instructions.

I predict that if things start going wrong in there, that Freddie will be vocal.

Holy fcking mackerel turns out my missus has booked tickets to go and see billy cnting ocean of all the absolute random cnts on the 1st December. WHAT in the actual hell is that all about, I don’t even like billy fcking ocean (when the going gets tough was ok, granted) but I’d never CHOOSE to watch the cnt live, let alone on the night of the biggest heavyweight fight in thirty years.

I knew she’d booked it as she mentioned it ages ago but I only found out this morning it’s on that date.

So I’m appealing to the good people of ESB, anyone want a ticket to watch billy ocean in Bournemouth and a hotel room thrown in you’re welcome to it. I warn you the wife snores sometimes after a few wines but otherwise you should get a decent nights kip.

    Fck sake.

^on that note I realised I have a stag do in Kiev having arranged for a load of people to come over...

Anyone know anywhere in Kiev to watch the fight at about 6am?

Just checked with the wife and she’s suggested I go to Kiev instead and the stag party goes to Bournemouth, seems very keen on the idea for some reason

    Good move.

Ben from behind the desk in Fitness First is just not a boxing coach.

I'm not buying this as a good idea. It looks an absolute mess truth be told and the fact it seems to have happened so close to the fight concerns me.

Weird as wicky prefers mayweather senior to roach
Wonder why he didn't tell Tyson to bring in senior

It doesn't really matter who Fury has in his corner.
At this stage in his career he knows what he's doing. He's going to do whatever he can to hit and not get hit, there's no other plan to discusss.
Ben Davison might be a good coach but he'll be under pressure if things start going wrong, and an old wise head like Roach can help him keep it calm.

Late additions to corners like this are not uncommon as people might think.
