Seferi, Pianeta and Wallin were cherry picks. AJ clearly isn't.

    I completely agree,
    but business is business
& he stands to make much more fighting AJ.
Which is counter intuitive as he is actually the path of least resistance over Usyk.

while I think it’s a weak sauce move on his part as a fight fan. (Although far be it a cherry pick)

As a 46 year old man hustling & making moves in the world to secure my future
I also completely understand & would likely do the same in his shoes.

My favourite was his last fight. They were all saying he never makes title defences or fights mandatories. He was going to duck Whyte apparently. Then that fight was announced and they said he was ducking Usyk.

And on retrospect Wallin was a cherry pick almost gone wrong, Wallin has shown he's a solid fighter since.

Ive criticised Fury before for his below par resume - right hand, & ancient trigger shy Klit. He's hardly cherrypicking AJ here. In fact I thought AJ did very eell in the last fight winning four arguably five rounds. This is more Fury cashing in with big Jay before he gets schooled by Usyk or Anthonys stock gets tumbled by another fat bloke.

AJ needs to go for it in this fight stop pussyfooting around. Fury hasn't got the quick dazzling non stop movement Usyk has so AJ will find it easier to land.

At least AJ isn't fresh off a 3 year drug benge where he ballooned to 350 lbs and lost his voice.

One thing is certain: after this bout they will be all finished. if Joshua wins, Fury is finished and will get bunches of rasperries by fans because he couldnt knock a wafer chin fighter out and be undisputed.
If Fury wins, Joshua is completely finished of his own and Fury the same because he will face Usyk for the undisputed and will lose even him.

Where im from thats a saying: two dogs strive for a bone, and the third runs away with it...and the third is Usyk.

Joshua haters are so of the most irrational people in the world. I mean blooming heck man Joshua’s is clearly the best fighter in the division next to Usyk and Wilder. So who should he fight instead?

Ducking Usyk, despite Joshua and those around him making it clear that Joshua fully intended to exercise his contractual right to an immediate rematch with Usyk and would require a step-aside offer considerably in excess of £15,000,000 to waive it. A crazy amount of money to pay someone for doing nothing.

    Joshua explicitly denying that he'd accepted the offer (said to be £15,000,000);

Fury and Joshua both know that this mega fight between them has already lost a bit of its shine it once had due to losses Joshua has taken of late. Would Fury make more fighting Usyk ? Who knows however Fury has thrown Joshua a massive lifeline here and should the fight go ahead they will make a considerable amount of money each. Ideally Joshua should be rebuilding but anymore losses and this fight with Fury will lose even more of its appeal .

Fight fans need to stop all this nonsense complaining, no way is this a cherry pick!.

Unless it's meant as a positive take as in the 'cherry on top of the cake', for a completely unexpected and best all Brit heavyweight bash this side of Xmas we're likely to see that no one expected to happen

I'm still not 100% sure it's definitely gonna happen but I am bloody hoping here....

C'mon, get real people, It's the biggest, best and riskiest fight Fury could take as 'a stay busy ' fight while waiting for the Usyk showdown next year.

    Cherry pick my feckin' arse....

Beating AJ has just crowned Usyk a certifiable ATG.

Failing the Usyk fight, this is the very best fight that can be made in the division.

Hopefully the winner will fight Usyk for the lineal title.

    Fury is a cherry picker

He cherry picked a robot in 2015, a basketball player in 2018 , a bodybuilder this year and next year a glorified midget.
