I'm certain that s what's happened with Fury. He can't climb any higher. Not sure, for some reason, that he sees AJ has a massive motivation. Klitschko was, as was Wilder, but he doesn't seem up for any fight really now.
Lol is Willard going 20 with a gunboat smith (who?) and a beyond shot Jack Johnson (who was hopelessly ahead before tiring out) supposed to impress me? Do you think Fury would need half that time to finish these men? Would you also favor Willard over Ali, Liston, Foreman, Tyson, Louis, etc on the sole basis that they never went 20 rounds either? Jesus Christ this is one of the worst posts I’ve seen and even worse is it’s not even the worst one in this thread!
There was a time when I thought Fury was great for the sport. He seemed genuinely interested in building a legacy, his banter before fights was great, and after the stale Wlad era, he seemed like a breath of fresh air. Credit to him for beating Wlad and Wilder. But since then... meh. I'm tired of his endless babble and general bull****. Honestly, I don't pay attention to anything he says anymore. He's almost becoming a fraud in my opinion. Joshua has his critics, but he conducts himself like a champion and he desperately wanted that fight against Fury. As said earlier, Fury has become a drama queen. Or maybe he always was one. Anyway, I'm waiting for someone to knock his block off.
I think we can all agree, this not a great era….no not even an okay era in boxing. Yet the sport survives, all 300 weight classes with 4,207 champions and one fight a year. Ahh the 70’s and 80’s…yup yup.
Tyson Fury could possibly come back when everybody stops paying attention to him, craves attention, part of his illness.
Fury moves better and slips shots better, no way could Dempsey have finished Fury in two, Willard was a sitting duck.
