"People assumed...." If you bothered to pay attention to the career of the man you obsess over so much, you'd have heard his promoter Bob Arum say many times that he wanted two fights before the Wilder rematch.
If Ngannou beats Miocic in the rematch then that is his best chance to win the UFC title. Ngannou is mainly a (crude) power puncher where as Miocic has wrestling pedigree and would present Fury more problems. He would only need 1 win to unlock mega money as the PPV revenue/hype in the next fight would be huge especially with McGregor on board. I'm sure Ngannou is the target as essentially he brings nothing except a monster right hand.
I thought the UFC stuff was bull**** and it probably is. If he ever does enter the cage, even against Ngannou, I don't think it will end well. They'll clinch eventually and it's goodnight for Fury if it goes to the ground. In saying that, it'd be an interesting watch against Ngannou on the feet. Fury would bamboozle him. Why the **** do I want to see this fight?
Ngannou is limited on the ground and that is why they are targeting him. Miocic would murder him. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
contracts mean absolutely nothing I'm surprised he ain't got the most of how it works You got enough money your obligated to do ****
Because he's switching codes there's a built in excuse you like everything stack in your favourite fighters corner At least he was trying to transgress
It’s clear that they’re trying to create several revenue streams from the Fury ‘personality’. I honestly thought they was gonna do it solely through boxing. We’ve got wrestling, possibly MMA, books, talks, singing...it’s just all a bit mad. I don’t begrudge him the success at all but I’m only interested in the boxing.
Ignorance is bliss Enjoy watching your wwe I'm trying to hold my laughter in Assuming your over 16 ffs
As a rule, boxers do not do well in MMA, they’re too ingrained to deal with just two hands. The stand up permutations of 2 hands, 2 elbows, 2 knees, 2 feet and the fear of being taken to ground is mind blowing under duress. Also the idea of defending waist downward is completely alien to them. Not a criticism of boxing just vastly different sports.
