    ...and a windmill.

Anyway, I had a feeling along along that the Wilder fight would not come off:

    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threa...f-interest-could-kill-fury-wilder-iii.645775/

And I explained to everyone weeks ago that no big fight would be made at all this year:

    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threa...ts-agit-kabeyal-this-year-make-a-pick.653484/

It sucks, but there it is. We are in the Covid era, and they are going to have to figure out how to make money before we see the fights that count.

There is the silver lining that Wilder is going to have to go back to the drawing board and re-build, now. While Fury fights Kabayel, he should fight old nemesis Romanov. I would rather see Fury fight ANYBODY at this point, and when Wilder does come back, he will be a bit more credible for having had a couple of tough rebuilders.

I would not be at all surprised if Wilder falls off altogether and loses his next fight against someone he is heavily favored to win against.

Christ, he was rocked by Molina, blinded by Duhaupas, and outboxed for 8 rounds against Szpilka. We know they fixed the Scott fight, and I am convinced that the Liakovich fight (due to the theatical twitching) and Audley fight (due to the shocked scream when he was about to get actually hit) were also both fixed.

We saw Harold Scoiners, and yes, Dustin Nichols knock him down.

25 fights into his career, and they were matching him against fat former middleweight Damon McCreary.

We should be honest that ANY fight is dangerous for the man.

He gave up his belts to avoid his first title defense which was a mandatory rematch with Wlad. He came back because he saw an easy grab in Wilder

The Liakovich KO was bizarre but it was the result of a rabbit punch. White Wolf unsuccessfully tried to appeal it. https://www.boxingnews24.com/2013/0...protest-regarding-his-loss-to-deontay-wilder/

I find it funny that Wilder fanboys claimed the first knockdown against Fury was an illegal rabbit shot but have no problem with this or many of Wilders other questionable or outright illegal punches. I'm not sure there's much the ref could have done with this one in real time and stuff like this never gets overturned but I do understand it from White Wolf's point of view. The guy has some bad losses but to my knowledge he has never bitched or made excuses about any of them.

Now the Scuba Scott and Ortiz I fights were blatant corruption. Scott took a blatant dive and Wilder was blatantly given extra time to recover. That was undoubtedly crucial to how the fight played out. Wilder was out on his feet and saved by the bell in the prior round. Can go on all day about the BS in Wilders career but I'm just happy he was exposed as the fraud that many of us on here claimed him to be. I expect to see that joke make more return trips to the canvas. The sooner the better!

I have never seen anything like that twitching, and will never buy it.

Also, if you watch the Audley fight, he screams just before he gets hit with a look of disbelief of his face...as if he didn't really expect to get hit...

Audley certainly could have beaten that count that's for sure. He was buzzed but coherent. He just wanted out. Complete joke of a fighter in his own right.

Absolute agree. But Fury fans will try and spin this. But I ask, how many passes does Fury get? How many "stay busy" and "tune up" fights will he make, while avoiding the rest of the top contenders.? There is no real reason why he can't fight Whyte right now especially if Whyte is such an easy fight like he is saying. Perfect opportunity to get him out of the way so the AJ fight can go through right? No, Fury and his handlers know that Whyte is a live dog and with those body shots, there is a real chance he can beat Fury, who is massively overrated right now in every way. Fury has never defended a belt and he only has 2 good names on his resume, at least one of which he was on steroids when he fought. Fury has to fight Whyte, vacate or get stripped.
