How are you guys arguing over something so basic. Referees giving fighters instructions after a heavy knockdown to evaluate if they are in good enough condition to continue fighting is standard practice. Some of you who think "if you stand up within 10 seconds you're good to go and the fight should start immediately" are either new to boxing or being completely dishonest with yourselves.

He was working for BT sport for this fight and like I said before we all know they had a story to sell to shove down everyone's throats.

Lewis had to support the road to redemption come back story, lest they whipped the skin off his back.

I don't care how your boy's prince Mohammed nasseem ali name is spelt.

And I don't care how much of a dinosaur you are either.

I know a hell alot more about boxing and how to judge a fight than you could ever dream of.

As for the proganganda, this guy was talking about doing mental health a big favor by fighting.

A mulit millionaire who used drugs is patronizing mental health suffers by stating he's doing them a favor. And you think that's right?

Don't have any biases and to be honest Wilder strikes me as having the common sense to know what he's putting into his body whereas with Fury and Saunders, despite them having good boxing IQ, they both strike me as more do something without thinking and deal with the consequences later type folk. We'll have to agree to disagree regarding the drugs leading to mental health thing.

That's fair enough, I respect your view even if I don't agree that Saunders and fury didn't know what they were doing.

Allowing a fighter lay flat on the ground and sleep for 7 seconds before starting a count isn't standard practice.

Billy Joe Saunders is so dense that he didn't think that filming himself offering a woman money to punch someone would go viral in 2018 and get him bad press. Either that or he didn't care. Either Way, I can imagine someone that stupid needing babysitting 24/7 so as to not be a danger to their own career.

That stems from feeling that he was untouchable and he was surrounded by many enablers.

The same way he thought he'd never get caught taking Oxilofrine because that roided no neck hack Dominic Ingle was probably telling him that none of his fighters in his stable have been caught yet and that having it administered via nasy spray would provide a loop hole in the off chance he' d get caught.

    Cool story bro.

You exaggerating and putting a spin on every claim you make to support your arguments = drama queen fanboy that treats boxing and it's politics like a soap opera. Turn your PC off and have another cry like u did after the fight.

Agreed on the commentary. You expect a narrative, but Malig was talking about how much better Fury's jab was than Wilder's in very emphatic terms within literally 30 seconds of the first round, and from there on in there it didn't stop.

I haven't got an axe to grind re the outcome, I need to rewatch it sober but my abiding memory of that drunken, dream like night was that Wilder avoided a lot more and landed some decent jabs that he wasn't given credit for during the first half. Not saying he won the rounds just that he did better work than given credit for, quite a lot of Fury's blows hit gloves, forearms or air the first few rounds. 2nd half Fury pulled ahead in class but those two kd's happened.

Don't get me wrong! I was most definitely pulling for Wilder. I just saw Wilder loading up and missing all fight. He got to Fury in 9 and 12 but, I didn't see him winning. I will, however, watch the fight again. I want nothing more than to say Wilder won.

what he took and the amount of it were not seen as being illegal by either the BBofC or UKAD but I dont actually sympathise with BJS in his case because he or his handlers should have known the rules. at the same time the UK rules need tightening. You could be on certain stuff right up to a week or so before fight night and not get caught because "in competition" ridiculously in some cases means fight night. Whereas with VADA it means the whole time. Now whether what he was taking and the quantities of it were of any benefit, I defer to people who'd know because I don't have that information.
