Saying 'Yes' to being an opponent to Tua, Rahman and Fury over the past years of inactivity is not really what I would call only wanting to fight soft punchers, but each to their own.

Back on subject, I would LOVE to see a Leapai v Fury fight. I want to see Fury fight anyone that is a danger to him to be honest. Think Fury is one of the few HW's that is bringing a bit of excitment back to the division.

You are keen to see Mark De Mori fight fight anyone that is a danger to him including Tyson Fury. But not Alex Leapai it seems.

I did say 'Fury fight anyone that is a danger to him' but IMO Mark should have one more against a 'journeyman' type guy but I know he will say yes to fighting anyone that is going to put him back into King's vision whether he is put in the deep end or not. he just wants to know if he will sink or swim.

I would love to see Mark fight Leapai, but 1) I don't think it would make sense for Alex and would be a step backward on his resume and 2) the fight isn't really going to help Mark get back into the vision of King. Unfortunately I think the honest truth is beating Aussie guys is not going to help Mark get fights back in the US which is where he wants to fight.

That is not a knock on Aussie HW's skill or otherwise just sadly what i think is the truth.

    Just my opinion.

If there's merit in a match-up between Mark De Mori and Alex Leapai just put it to Leapai. Why guess at what Leapai might think of the proposition? Tyson Fury probably doesn't know who Mark is but if the match-up made sense it shouldn't stop De Mori from appproaching Fury. Also confused about the King connection. Why would Mark be out to impress Don King? Surely not with the aim of attracting another King contract that would virtually guarantee more inactivity?

    Mark is still with King.

Fury knows very well who Mark is.

And although yes deMori v Leapai would be entertaining for the punters, I DON'T think there is merit in it AT THIS STAGE for either of them. Nothing to gain for either of them professionally except to satisfy the Aussie punter.

Welliver would make more sense for either of them & would be an easier fight for both.

By the same token you then have to ask yourself what's in it for Chauncey Welliver though.

Alex time will come, he just needs to be ready, when he has a chance to make some big money, when he gets the chances in europe or USA, he better be ready
