If if if. You are talking about pure hypotheticals here. He might lose his next fight by brutal knockout, then crawl into a whisky bottle, and never be heard from again. Until he beats somebody in the top ten, in the real physical universe, he is not somebody that should be of interest here.
Fury is a disaster waiting to happen. You can almost hear the sound of a big crash to the canvas with broken glass flying everywhere....with the ref stopping a redundant 10 count at 5 or 6.
I've only seen a couple of his fights and while he has some potential, I have some doubts whether he will enjoy a long successful career. He does have good skills and can put his punches together well but I don't know if he really punches his size and weight and his chin does seem kinda shaky. Its going to be an interesting year, next year to see what happens to him.

Not only have you stunk out the general forum, you're now doing it on here. I'd be shocked if you'd seen any footage at all of Henry Cooper. Tyson Fury is a good fighter. But as yet, he's done nothing in boxing. List us his best win. We'll have to all wait and see how his career turns out. But don't show yourself up on here, like you have on the general, by claiming he'd beat Ali etc, because he's beat Steve Cunningham. It's cringeworthy.
Fury looked good against Chisora. But really how good is Chisora? He was never anything special. His claim to fame was a deciscion loss to am ipcomg prospect people felt he deserved the nod in. Fury fights in February, it would be foolish to risk his mandatory against to live an opponent but hopefully his management gets him someone durable for a few rounds. Fury is improving and his xeilimg is not set yet but he doesn't have the tools to be Great. He can be good though.
Ok...lets get some perspective here.. Fury is big and unbeaten. His opposition has been modest. He remains and source of great potential. Beyond that ?...we don't know. My own opinion is that the first thing he needs to do is lose a stone at least. I also think that relatively speaking he lacks natural power relative to his size. His height makes him difficult. He is a reasonably good boxer who is still learning. Conclusion....enjoy the ride, he's good for boxing,would love to see him v AJ for a version of the title in 12-18 months time. I like Joshua better as he has movement and speed and Natural power. As for Fury v Cooper i reckon Henry is more than mobile enough to avoid problems but naturally gets caught as he comes in...50-50 on points..maybe Henry due to fitness ? Fury certainly doesnt KO him. Fury is not a KO fighter and that's my worry for him. Match him up v other big heavys from the past...Bowe,Lewis etc...and he gets outclassed. I wish him all the best but at some point in the career of a HW at the top level they will need to have real power,great movement and or superb boxing ability...i dont think Fury ticks any of those boxes. In todays era he has a chance to go further though and good luck to him.
I don't see an awful lot of potential in Fury, to be honest. Having said that, he has improved a lot since he turned professional. Fury has yet prove himself against a good fighter. I'm not sure his chin's up to world standards. And he doesn't strike me as being strong and powerful as other big heavyweights (eg. Lewis and Wlad) have been. That's the brutal truth of the matter.
cooper destroys fury. its not about how fat you are, boxing is about landing on the mandible and on the solar plexus/liver. fat doesn't help these aims.

Cooper simply didn't have the skill to overcome Furys size advantage. Cooper has absolutely zero chance against a well prepared Fury, at best he has a punchers chance against the sloppy/brawling Fury.
fury has a punchers chance too... of knocking himself out. that's how poor his skills are, he hits his own chin lol. as for overcoming sizes, henrys ammer straight to the solar plexus will put furys lights out if old steve cunnyman can put him down.
