The Fury of Wilder 2 fights the best Max Baer. Who wins? 15 rounds.

Fury has a few rough rounds similar to the 3rd Wilder fight getting caught by some looping bombs. Baer makes it an event with some rough house tactics like back hands and a single leg takedown to even the odds after getting soundly outboxed by a Fury whose constantly mashing jabs and flurries in his face before circling around. Baer managed to do some damage with body shots and may rock or drop Fury, but Fury gets up and starts punishing Baer with strong overhand rights and mauling.

Eventually, Fury lands a strong uppercut taking away Bear's legs. Baer uses a foot stomp+left hook combo and loses a point. It explodes into an ugly brawl, and Fury drops Baer with a barrage after pressuring him into a corner. Both men are lumped up with swelling and the crowd is ecstatic. Eventually, the ref has seen enough and stops the contest as Fury tees off in a partially blind Baer whose unable to properly respond.

Fury TKO round 9 while well ahead on the cards, but he's had a rough night.

If Fury,,who ain't a big puncher , can't get Max outta there he'll fade down the stretch of a 15 round fight.

It's a Fury decision or maybe a later stoppage. Fury's no puncher but when he sits down on them he's not feather fisted either. He's a much better boxer than Baer and only need look out for the right hand. He's shown beat a big right hand puncher even if they do catch him.

Max was considered a stud for his day 6 3 210lbs. He was bigger and more powerful then everybody except Canera who was a big stiff. Then he ran into fighters almost as tall as him who were good boxers. Braddock out boxed him and add the power and you get a beating from Louis. Fury is a talented boxer from a different era where his size takes away the strength and power advantage from Baer. It wouldn’t be pretty. Fury would tear Max up and blunt his power. 5 round slaughter.

Not always but often is true because the modern fighters are on the whole better.

Look at what Max did to Carnera. Look at what Ngannou did to Fury.

Theres your answer. Hed catch Fury. Hed catch him over and over.

I agree Ngannou was a bad outing for Fury. Maybe he took him lightly because he was an MMA fighter?
Let’s not however be silly and include Carnera in same sentence with Fury.

Fury took Ngannou lightly because if you look at some of the Ngannou footage from MMA he looks truly horrible. THAT SAID Ngannou has obviously been working on his boxing very hard and is a quantum leap better than he used to once be.
