I agree whoever wins this has cemented their legacy and some, which is why it’s great it is finally (hopefully) going to happen.

Honestly, I don’t dislike Fury at all I think he’s done really well and I loved the Wilder tear ups especially 2 and 3. I do prefer Uysk and would prefer him to win. I think it would be great for the Ukrainian people, who are so unjustly suffering.

Agree David wanted no part of him, I don’t know what happened there, as at the time I fancied him to win and he seemed confident. Maybe his injuries were worse than we thought at that time or maybe he got spooked by Furys team which was rumoured at the time. The cut eye was nonsense.

That’s my thinking Wig regarding the change of style and whilst this Kronk style works against flat footed plodders like Whyte/Chisora or Wilder who’s got limited boxing fundamentals and is easy to set up, can it work against someone with the reflexes, footwork, movement and engine of Usyk? He’s not just going to stand in front of Fury like the other 3 did.

How can you rate Furys wins vs Wilder if you don’t rate Usyk win vs AJ. Even you surely can’t say Wilder has a better resume than AJ?

The point I am making is you can’t discredit Joshua’s resume but say Wilder is a good win for Fury as his resume is even worse. And saying he would beat XYZ means little, because he hasn’t fought them

You’re the one obsessed with AJ mate - check the constant threads! I actually think Wilder would iron out AJ in a few minutes if they fought. My issue is you use one rule for one fighter, and another for another. Try to be consistent and reasoned with your arguments. If boxing was based solely on the eye tests there wouldn’t be any point in them having the fights. If Usyk hasn’t got any decent HW wins, then you can’t count Wilder as a decent win for Fury.

Looking forward to this. Rematch clause is a separate issue...I'm more concerned that the first fight happens.

C Mon greedy belly - get your credibility back.

Proving my point again. He has only fought one world class opponent and lost 3 times (in the eyes of most) A world class opponent who doesn’t have the best chin yet took his Sunday best and beat him. So perhaps you are right and his power is overrated.

"Hypotheticals are the only way to discredit fury since sticking to facts shows he is the undefeated lineal undisputed unified etc champion."

    Exactly.

Fury's always been the loser of hypotheticals. He was going in against Chisora 1, Wlad, Wilder 1 and Wilder 2, as well as Price, Haye, Wlad 2 and Joshua. While in the real world he's always won.
