I'm trying to find the article for you but Fury said he'd like to fight Rogan. He talked up the Irish title quite a few days back. Very good move if you ask me.

Yeah it's to do with the situation over there where people born in Northern Ireland are eligible for an Irish passport and nationality. Obvious example is John Duddy.

even people born in the north without an irish passport can fight for an irish title............ Im pretty sure Neil Sinclair has a british passport!

im not sure what fights from the undercard they showed on sky but some of the referees were BUI refs

Jamie Moore has Irish family as well, doesn't he? That's why he has the Irish title as well.

anyone entitled to an Irish passport qualifies!

Therefore anyone on the Island of Ireland qualifies or anyone born outside Ireland but with Irish parentage or grandparentage qualifies for a shot as they qualify for a passport.
