And Deontay Wilder? Give me a fcuking break. Wilder has done nothing, NOTHING so far in his career that fury hasn't. They're both nothing more than untested prospects with potential.

Don't get me wrong I dont support Fury, or even David Price. I am a "Del Boy" Chisora fan.

Yeah, Fury is untested. But I have never seen a young fighter call out so many names. If people dont want to fight him what can he do?

 

Agreed, the only argument I've heard so far against this guy of any note is that he isn't powerful enough, well for a guy having won every fight he has been in by KO in 4 rounds or less (Lee Swaby retired on the stool at the end of the 4th and Zeller in the 3rd, rest are 2nd or 1st round KOs) that is quite an astonishing claim. He isn't a one punch KO artist that's for sure but his punches are ridiculously accurate (when he isn't twatting himself in the face) and obviously carries enough power to put people on there ass. The guy has all the tools, height, speed, hell even a big gut is gunna give him some padding around the mid section (and he still retains his speed), his punching is really good and he hasn't had anyone to test his defence so it would be stupid of us to say he is weak in that area.

The only question marks left to answer are the stamina and chin capacities, if these are even half decent then he will be fine (See Wlad for details). The problem is we do have a lot of prospects that turn out to be nothing but hype machines, so it's easy for people to come on here and say "mark my words he is over rated cause I'm a super brain of boxing, why do I think this? Because he winces after every punch" and then actually claim that the knew he was gunna suck (it's called luck). When you bet against everyone in a race, you're gunna be right for all but 1 of them and the same applies here and that's why you get much better odds for choosing the winners.

Also the arrogant ***** thing does my head in, what does every mother ****er on this forum say without exception, the HW scene in boxing sucks and has sucked for a long time. Someone comes out in boxing and says it, then they are vilified by "purists", **** you and **** off from this great sport will you, complain we need change and when fighters come in who say the same thing we turn against them...see how we got in this mess in the first place now?

 

Chisora is already RUNNING in fear. The guy is a complete BUM and FRAUD. In his most recent fight he fought someone he already outpointed in his 4th fight. LMFAO. Not to mention he is an EAR BITING DISGRACE. The guy is on crack. An interviewer asked him about Tyson Fury and he PULLED THE BIGGEST DUCK I HAVE EVER SEEN. Short of Mosely 'I will fight anyone, just not Paul Williams'.

He will be beaten to a pulp by Fury.

Tyson Fury is the new Vitali Klitschko. He has sheer contempt for his opponent, bating them with lazy jabs and shots until he opens up the vicious, clubbing right hands.

Who gives a **** if he's going to fail at top level? At this point we simply can't tell (no, neither can you), but anyone who loves boxing is excited at the prospect of rejuvenated blood in a HW division that has been on life support for several years.

I'm wishing Fury well, it'd be damn nice to have a change from the Williams-Skelton-Audley roundabout. And if he's not world class then so what? It's not all about being #1 or you're an absolute zero, I just want to see entertaining heavyweight boxing and Fury can do that.

I still think the whispers of matching him up against McCall are ****ing idiotic though.

 

Fury is nothing but a better prospect. Up to now I don´t see anything special on him. He has good handspeed, but not outstanding for nowadays big guys. The Klitschkos or Dimitrenko got definitely better handspeed. Furys style is still very amateurish.

Right now it os far too early to say something. But my guess is, that he makes it to Euro Level, but he wont make the step on the world elite level.
I see a little bit the next british hypejob on the horizon. No wonder, because the other one will be exposed in a couple of weeks.

 

That sounds right to me. We need some excitement to be created in heavyweight boxing in Britain.

And I agree about the McCall shout. It's just something the editor of boxing news suggested. That would be too big a step up in class too early. Fury is only 20 years old, there's no need to rush anything - but he needs to have a bigger test domestically.

I don't care what he says...boxers these days need to market themselves and we should all take wat they say with a pinch of salt.

But I do see him falling just short of the top level. I think he'll win a British title but I don't see him going much further than that.

Wilder will be the one to watch for gents!!!

 

as far as i know he is an irish traveller ! any interview ive seen him in he usually says he is irish !! not romany ! and people have been hating on him saying things like dirty gypo **** etc ! some gypsies are bad but a lot are sound , its racsim at the end of the day it dosent matter if his skin is white he is from an ethnic minority !

 

and as for the ****ing tool who said he is like tye feilds , get off this forum because you havent got a clue about boxing ! tye feilds had no amateur background and is an unskilled bum , tyson won bronze in the world juniors and boxed internationally for britian and ireland ,infact he would wipe the floor with tye fields wright now imo !
