If they hooked up together I could see him being built up 'Eubank' style Hearn is a Sports legend - Snooker 18M people watching it in the early hours & Premier League Darts filling up the O2 are just 2 examples of his ability as a promoter FW has got Chisora, Maloney has got Price & Larry & Hennessy has got no TV deal. Hearn's shows on FFN have not been brilliant this year and Fury could feel the gap. Maybe Henessy should hook up with Hearn and do some co-promotions. Mick seems to be a nice guy and could do with a good mentor.
hearn doesnt have any fighters signed up exclusivly. he just wins purse bids for fights no other promoters wants and puts them on sky for cheap. matchroom dont build fighters anymore.
Does this mean Froch and Co could get on TV if they hooked up with Hearn? Even if the Sky money weren't brilliant once Hearn took his cut I suspect it is more than he could get via Primetime.
Audley Harrison? To be honest, if Matchroom did what they at the moment with winning the purse bids nobody wants and then focused separately on Harrison and Fury-there's money to be made there. Yes colin-froch and the like could get on TV if Hennessy did some sort of deal to get his fighters on Matchroom shows, but they would only be FFN's. Obviously Hennessy views Froch in particular as far above the status of FFN, and rightly so.
the furys fiight for hennessy, because he,s a promoter not a protector, opinions may say they would do better elswhere, but it aint happening.
I don't have as much confidence in Fury now, his last outing was very poor considering he ended it early. He needs world class trainers if he is going to get anywhere.
I know, but I just not sure he can make enough progress to reach the top anymore. Most fighters have well established basics by the age of 21, but Fury is far too sloppy, and I don't know whether he will make the necessary changes. I know there will be examples of others who have managed it, but there will be many more who have not. I've got a feeling that he is going to peak early, and will be on the slide in his late twenties, but that's just speculation. If that is the case then he needs to sort out his team asap, otherwise it will become a case of trying to teach an old dog new tricks.
