john mcdermott told me the shot he stopped him with in their second fight was the single hardest punch he has ever felt

i like fury, yes he's a bit flabby here and there but so what.i,d like to see his stamina improve and with that the waistline may follow.but as long as he trains hard and ups his workrate in a fight i dont give a **** wot he looks like.get him in with price .

Get him in with anyone decent and its all over, Fury looks scared of taking a punch and his mobility is terrible.
Good luck to the lad but imo he loses as soon as he steps up.

Not sure what Manny is going on about - world class/dominant force in hw boxing!??!!?
I know a trainer has to talk his man up but that is just laughable.

contact someone with a british heavyweight willing to fight, and bingo the jobs acomplished, lots of trainers boxers on here, CALL one up, swaby diden't last the distance, so how did that happen if he wasen't hurt. he is not bothered about any brit heavy, says he can't even get motivated to fight one, there that bad, waiting to see someone preove him wrong.

Tyson Fury hasn't looked good yet.
He's young though, so maybe he could improve.
I doubt he'll ever be world class.

Emanuel Steward likes any tall fighter, especially giant heavyweights. He said Tye Fields was going to be a world-beater a few years back.

As with Arreola the lad's potential will never be fully seen until it's dug out from the sea of ***** fat that's wrapped around him. A shame, as I'd love to see what Fury's capable of if pushed.

Ive followed his pro career closely, in his 1st few fights I thought he was a real talent then not only did he seem to not improve, he got worse. I hate to generalize but other gypsy fighters in the past have risen to a certain point in their careers, made a bit of money & dissappeared.
The 1st McDermott fight (which I thought he won but not by 6 rounds like the ref) showed up the many flaws in his game, especially his conditioning & technique. He's not a natural athlete & is never gonna arrive in the ring looking ripped, but his conditioning needs a lot of hard work. I was very pleased to see a improved performance in their 2nd fight.
Despite his flaws he does have a few things going for him, his height & reach, his age, decent handspeed for a big fella & I think he has a good, though relatively unproven chin. His name will always guarantee him a high profile & if Steward can work his magic, who knows, with the depth of talent in the HW pool being shallow & not showing signs of improving he may well be a world champ of some description some day. I hope so.

Putting aside the fact he is useless. All this nonsense about he's not a natural athelete is utter bollocks, he's FAT. He needs a proper conditioning programme.

My guess is that, as you often get with family trained and developed boxers, they think know better, because "my family bin doing this hundred year", and all that.

To be fair to him, he hasn't been with Steward very long, one fight from what im aware of.

I think the problem Fury has, aside from the issues he has from a technical stand point (footwork), is that whilst he's tall, he's not a big puncher, and I question whether he's good enough Boxer to maintain his reach and dictate the range consistently without that power.

I believe when your tall and someone tries to close the range on you to get inside, you have to keep them in their place, let them know there is a price to pay for stepping into your range, now if you dont have the power, you better have an arsenal of punches, a variety of shots you can bring into play to protect your range, like a rockin right hand, a counter uppercut, but Fury is not good enough of a Boxer imo.

Fury is the type of guy that would have massive problems with someone like Chisora imo, cause Chisora would step to him and let his hands go, and I dont think Fury has the pop to keep him in his place, plus, Fury gets disorganized when he's backed up.
