Tyson would not have much chance of winning a decision against Vitali.Vitali's jab was too good.

LArry Holmes, admittedly past his prime, went on to fight for HW titles WAY after the Tyson fight, and was never stopped again. Wasn't as washed up as people say, but still....only Kid Dynamite could stop him. This is the man who was famously K.O'd by Earnie Shavers with one massive right hand, only to make it to his feet within the ten count, hold on for a second, then win the rest of the round!

I know it's a cliche, but 'Prime' Tyson beats any HW of all time IMO, even Ali and Foreman. I'm expecting to get flamed for that one, but I don't care.

I havent read the entire thread but still just want to give it a go.

Prime Tyson was a monster. The combination of speed, power, defence, movement etc was just insane.

I do think that a prime Ali struggles with Tyson along with every other ATG HW's out there. Tyson was ****in badass.

Vitaly has never ever shown me something just half as impressive as the prime Tyson, but Vitaly's size, reach, chin and badass attitude could trouble Tyson.

But the decisive factor in this fight would without a doubt be the speed/power combo from prime Tyson. Even Vitaly would fall after a few rounds of that.

Tyson TKO 6/7 is my pick.

I think Tyson by stoppage within five. If Lewis can do that for Vitali's face, what can Tyson do to him in general???

    For Tyson : 88 people
    For Vitali : 45

I thought it would be more in favour of Iron Mike to be honest!

Prime Tyson had great speed and movement, he'd take VKs main advantage away, which is his heaight and reach.

He'd bang at the body before bringing it up top. VK is resilient though I dont see an early blow out. maybe a late TKO in favour of Tyson, or even a points win. Prime Mike could box to the bell beleive it or not.

Tyson with ease. Head movement's too good, too fast, too good at fighting out of a crouch. Vitali's size would work against him, he's too slow and basic, he wouldn't be able to hit Tyson. Tyson chops him down.

Vitali wins because he beat a fat Sam Peter.

This forum cracks me up hard :lol::lol:

Here's how this fight would go kids, read carefully.

40 year old Big V stairs down prime 20-year-old Mike at the weight in, Mike looses it, lunges, and gets beat up right there for the first time, prior to the fight.

Mike shows up for the fight mentally broken, trying to lunge a few times, gets schooled with counter punches then tries to bail out - bites, kicks, head butts, etc...

Big V is having none of it - not going to miss out on torturing Mike, carries him with the jab and arm punches through the second half of the twelfth round. Now, Vit had all the fun with the puny mental midget and lands a few power punches at will on a punching bag which Mike has become at this point. It's over 2:55 in the twelfth. Big V's obligation before the tv network is completed, fight went 12 rds -5 seconds. All is good, cash is collected, torturing habit was satisfied, etc...

Lesson over, kids, time for a bed.
