What's up with all these oversimplified anti Tyson threads the last few days? What did a bunch of you guys just hear about him? Yes, Tyson gets overrated (or at least he did before), but y go the exact other way??? any thread that calls all the fighters tyson beat as "cans" and "journeymen" can't really be taken seriously (his opp wasn't stellar but c'mon). and all were not scared (even if they all somehow were wouldn't that mean he was legit the baddest man). tyson gave us the best ko highlight footage over hw's ranging from c- to a couple of a- for many years, got beat by a great on that night douglas, went to jail, lost to a juiced out of his mind holyfield and on and on.....

You might want to look at both mens fights. Tyson was 220lbs and still FASTER than 168lbs Jeff Lacy.

 

The TS wasnt saying they were similiar fighters,as much as simply saying that they're similiar in the sense that both were thought to be unbeatable and were found out against quality opposition.
