There isn't an exact correlation to be drawn here ,because the bigger men were slower and easier to connect on.Physics says body mass has a direct connection to the ability to absorb a blow, how much mass, and how much increased ability is variable.
eg Golovkin, while could probably ko boxers up to 180lbs, his punches probably wouldn't do anything to Nicolai Valuev though. We all know this, so its not really worth discussing.

But Adamek didn't. Which disproves your point.

Foreman was over 5 inches taller than Marciano ,therefore he had the frame to enable him to take on added poundage, plus it was a result of him aging and not a deliberate strategy on his part.A Rocky Marciano at 45 weighing 220lbs would be a waddling sitting duck.He was so successful because he was absolutely trained to his maxium peak and optimum weight no opponent he faced was ever fitter than him.If he would have benefited from an added 20lbs ,he and his trainer would have added that poundage.

And yes,the added poundage did slow Foreman perceptably there is just no denying that!

How many fighters increase their ko percentage when they move up in weight?

Impossible to tell whether he did or not. At any rate, his punches had far lesser effect on his opponents at heavyweight, which has direct correlation to your original argument regarding Rocky.

None of those lost their power because they gained weight, how stupid of an idea is that.

Because his opponents were in the main small men like himself. This has already been pointed out.

You seem to be missing the point, it's quite simple really. Name me one fighter that lost power by gaining weight?

Marciano proved he could render 200lb+ fighters unconscious, you think him adding 20-30lb of mainly muscle would somehow stop that?

Right, so they don't lose their power but they lose the effectiveness of their power against their opponents. So what good is the increase?

"Were in the main," so now you're going to admit he flattened fighters bigger than himself.......

Maybe just maybe it helps them hit a tad harder and gives the added benefit of not being outmuscled so easily.......

I don't quite think you're quite grasping the essence of the argument here.

    See above.
