Thing is, Rashad could possibly take Rua to the ground and do just enough to keep it there, landing his weird ****** punches and ****. Take the fight to the ground for five boring as **** rounds, listen to Joe Rogan gobble his nuts, and have a new champ..

    It could happen.. Horrible dream.

It's so annoying. Like the KO on the undercard. "The greatest come from behind KO in UFC history". I mean was it really?? I dont know much about UFC but I find it hard THAT was the greatest in it's 20 year history.

Rampage wasn't in shape. He looked really rusty. Rashad fought a perfect fight given the situation. I don't know what else anyone expected him to do.

Rua isn't Rampage on the ground. If I was Rashad I'd be trying to keep THAT fight standing.

Yeah thats a freaking nightmare but one that could become a reality. Joe was really overboard with the nuthugging tonight. I dont mind a guy taking it to the ground over and over but atleast do some damage, pass and look for a finish.

What fight where you guys watching? Rashad landed more punches on the ground then Rampage probably did on his feet. Plus Rampage keep getting back up so that sometimes nullifies the strikes when you are trying to hold someone down.

No he didnt. He lost 30 pounds, putting him at 220, and then cut 15 pounds to make weight for 205. Jackson never actually weighs 205 as a fighting weight, he cuts to make weight, like every other fighter.

Yeah, he lost his balance and fell on his back. I thought that it was a punch that flipped him over like that. Not an impressive showing for Rampage.

it can happen but rua has good ground game being a bjj blackbelt.

if their fight goes to the ground and shogun doesn't gas out in the process, shogun would be able to show to us his underrated ground game..

Rashad rocked him but wasn't close to finishing him. Rampage had Rashad almost out and missed 2 free shots when Rashad was down and not defending himself cause he was on ***** street. Bad on Rampage for not connecting those easy free shots. Rashad's a piece of ****, Rampage was too hesitant and looked a step or two away from his best. Still should've beat Rashad though and basically gave him a free pass that last round by not following up when Rashad was hurt for a good duration of that round

Why are still people defending Rampage and pissed at Rashad. Rampage is a ****ng ****** whos maybe more overrated than Gomi. They should have thrown this guys ass in jail. Hes a horrible fighter, he has never shown me in 7 years one iota of technical skill

Sure he did. That's why he wasn't defending himself once he hit the ground. Too bad Rampage couldn't hit an almost sleeping target twice. Rashad was right there for the taking and Rampage couldn't deliver.

No way. He could get Shogun down, but Shogun has good jits unlike Rampage. The best case scenario for Rashad is five rounds of lay and pray. He'll gas out long before the end of the fight. That is going to be a horrible, horrible beat down.

You cant live off the Arona Slam forever. He was able to pull that move off since he didnt know what to do..ah why not just slam him see what happens.

Please dont even bring Silvas Ko. Silva is shot 2x. This guy lost to Forrest FFS.
