lol. The sight of Diaz using Penn's head for a double-end bag was hilarious.

Outstrike him a bit? Diaz whiffed on nearly everything he threw and didn't even attempt to do his normal volume "boxing" because every time he opened up he got stuck. The first round looked nothing like the last two and if you deny that, it's simply because you're pissed that I'm still one of the best prognosticators on the board even though Penn let me down.

Sloppy boxing sucks and it's annoying for people to behave as if Diaz's hands are outstanding when he gets beat up in nearly all of his fights and wins via cardio and Chin.

Smh. Literally every part of Metal Mandible's post was Nick Diaz hate.

The first round was close. I literally said 50/50 after it. To me Penn had the advantage with striking early but Diaz picked it up towards the end. You could give it to Penn for the take down however.

The next round had nothing to do with his "cardio and chin". It had to do with him having the best boxing in MMA, and beating down one of the best active fighters in MMA. His punches don't look spectacular, and his style is pretty ridiculous. But just watch his last fights, they do damage.

I personally had the fear of Penn being too good for Diaz, and that UFC is a much higher level than Strikeforce, but Diaz did what he always does. His ground defence was brilliant, and his striking was his usual top notch.

I'm a big fan, and I'm not over hyping him. Everyone said he would lose, and he did what he always does. How can someone possible still have that hatred and disrespect of what he does if he walked in against the guy you thought would beat him, and did his thing winning easily?

Diaz actually landed his own fair share in the fist, although I'll agree Penn landed more. Its not as one-sided as you made it sound though, and in the second Penn wasn't really throwing sloppy punches until he started getting beaten up by Diaz.

Go back and watch the fight. In the first he was fast, well-timed, and powerful. From the time the bell rings in the second he's throwing lethargically and with little pop and he doesn't start absorbing real damage until he shoots that so-called takedown attempt that he also was unable to do any faster than a 90 year-old granny. It's at that point that the fight starts to go real south because his Glass Lungs had already cracked and his Glass Heart went at that moment.

He gassed because Diaz held him up against the fence like GSP did. At WW that's all it takes because he's passive as **** in that position and when he does try to escape it blows his wad.

This is very simple. BJ has the worst cardio in the history of the sport. Man cant even throw a punch, hes so damn tired.
