You're saying he was out of it. No his hands weren't completely in front of his face; because he was working to get up.

You´re making assumptions now, he did get hit in the face too much and then he was not defending himself anymore....

He ate 4 or 5 clean shots from Lawler. Herb Dean made the right call

I thought it was an early stoppage but Kosheck wasn't defending himself or making any offensive moves. He had hands at chest and eating hard punches. Can't blame Herb

So anytime someone gets punched in the face 4 times, the fight should be stopped. Okay...

Maybe it was early but if they didn't stop it Kos would have been out for real in like 5 more seconds.

The UFC can't have someone die in a major fight while getting pounded on the ground....if that happens it would get played on all the morning talk shows and 24 hour news networks....it could really set the sport back. I think it is established enough that it wouldn't totally Kill the sport..but it would definitely be hard blow.

I would definitely disagree with that. But Koscheck lost. Which is what I'm sure everybody wanted.

Unless the guy feels okay, which was not the case in there, Kos was clearly very stunned....

What cost him the fight was he was not protecting himself after getting dropped by a hard punch. The big facter and key to the stoppage was getting dropped. That signal the ref that you are hurt and once on the ground you display no defense and eating more clean hard punches. This will usually get the ref to stop it.

These are the facts of what went on.

I doubt the ref asks to see if they're okay... Yes he was stunned. So was Te-Huna against Jimmo. Doesn't mean it was a good stoppage.

I know what an ellipsis is too...............
