He has improved his boxing skills, but he still doesn't defend the leg kicks. Boxing alone can only get him so far. He had Jardine on the ground a couple of times and he didn't want to or couldn't take advantage of the situation. In order for him to be successful he will have to be smarter and not think he can just go in there and ko everyone with his fists. What will happen when he faces someone who doesn't want to engage and is elusive. last but not least, I think his cardio needs some work, he was gassed by 3rds, when he should be able to handle 5rds if he intends on fighting for the championship.
But that did showed that he fought like only 2 months and 10 days ago..He fought at the end of December..He didnt had very much rest in between. It's not the fight who are hard on the body, but the training is... I expect him to be much more energic vs Rashad.

Matt brown looked great for sure, I wasn't expecting him to spark Sell so bad and then poor Sell getting a beating like that the ref could have stopped that a couple different times.

On one hand I agree with you, on the other, had Sell come back to win the fight, it would have been illegitimate because had the ref not pulled him off Brown could have finished him completely. It was great for me though, the worse and longer Pete Sell gets the **** kicked out of him, the better.
This is the best Vera has ever looked, and it is not even remotely close. Where the hell has this been all his career? First of he looks much better at 205, but even beyond that his form is better, but most importantly his mentality and aggression are perfect.
Oh, nothing really, just Serra's buddy, and he says some dumb **** like before Serra GSP 2. I don't dislike him THAT much, but I enjoyed seeing him be demolished. Since Lawler is to Hughes what Sell is to Serra, it would have been great to have Lawler in there doing what Brown did.
