I know he's been out with an injury for some time but he's scheduled to fight At Adrenaline 4 vs Sherman Pendergarst at heavy?

 

I read it was a warm up fight with him returning at the end of 09

Well let's be realistic, I think it's pretty safe to assume that Jake O'Brian (also released) and Houston both need to go get some wins if they want to ever put together their careers again.

They can't get those in the UFC.

 

Houston Alexander is the exact sort of fighter Strikeforce need to snap up. UFC can be very brutal with cutting fighters.

Strikeforce again. Put him in with Cung Le and if Le can spark him then one nil to Strikeforce.

With these guys freelancing Strikeforce should get them for cut rates in comparison to the UFC.
