It would have been a majority draw.

Nope. Two scores of 47-47 means it would have been a majority draw. Which would have been a shame, because Johnson won that fight fair and square. :good

    :hat

Had it 3-2 DJ, with the final two rounds being one sided in his favour. Very good fight.

God, that dude Dodson ate a steady diet of knees in the Thai clinch. I loved it! If only Mighty Mouse would commit to his strikes a little bit more he'd have gotten Dodson outta there.

P.S. That hand rule is the shittiest rule ever and they had better change it after this fight. As a matter of fact I think I'm gonna go and e-mail the UFC now about that ******o rule.

They should have changed that rule years ago. We can only hope that it gets changed soon.

A downed opponent should be two knees on the ground. Not one hand.

Or at least one knee on the ground. This one hand touching the ground after being hit rule, coming from boxing, has no merit here. Boxing is not mma. The distinction was made at UFC I.

I'm glad McCarthy didn't take away a point. Excellent card tonight.

Is that snot, or is it spit? I know the two are related. Was that stream from the nose, or was it from the mouth?

    I believe it's a stream of nose blood/snot.

Should Lamas be given a title shot, or should he fight KZ to determine the number one contender? Lamas has the better streak going, but doesn't have the "star power" that KZ has. Beating KZ could give him that. Similarly, a win over Lamas for KZ would make his title shot indisputable.

    Lamas Last Five:

    W - Koch (TKO2)
    W - Hioki (UD)
    W - Swanson (Sub2)
    W - Grice (TKO1)
    L - Alcantara (KO1)

    KZ's Last Five:

    W - Poirier (Sub4)
    W - Hominick (KO1)
    W - Garcia (Sub2)
    L - Roop (KO2)
    L - Garcia (BS SD)
