68-65 Cully. No complaints, Woodruff had his chance in the 5th and let it slip past, also Cully did really well. Cully boxing and moving very well.
78-74 Cully. Fully deserved, no complaints, Cully boxed and moved his way to a good win. Woodruff needs a word with himself, the attitude reeled.
Absolutely, a little frustrating that Woodruff didn't really go for it, but those 8/1 odds looked long in the 5th round LOL
Dominant performance from Lee McGregor tonight. Looked very big and strong in there against Walker who normally fights at the weight above McGregor. You would think it was the other way around but with how much bigger McGregor was and how he bullied Walker. Credit to Walker though, he was taking some heavy shots and I'm surprised he stayed on his feet for as long as he did. McGregor's defence wasn't the best tonight but I think that was because he felt Walker couldn't hurt him.
Picking Ramirez, but if Postol is in good condition I think he can cause problems for Ramirez and take some rounds to make it a close affair, but I think Ramirez' work-rate and tenacity will see him through. At Postol's age though, there's always the chance that his next fight is the fight where he discovers he's shot. If he is, I could see Ramirez steamroller him to any earlyish stoppage. How do you see it going?
Enjoyed Taylor vs Tetley there. Good back and forth fight. Well earned victory for Taylor, with the knockdowns being the difference.
Yeah that was a really entertaining watch, the right winner in my opinion. The knockdowns in 2 and 3 were the difference, but fair play to both men, both gave their all and both had their moments.
Another entertaining fight so far, good action. Crocker looks like he is just starting to slow, which is making it very interesting, if Greene lets his hands go up close when he gets there, he'd have much more success.
Grand bit of boxing of a Wednesday. MTK - they're good at piling up the bodies in Ireland but we appreciate a bit of midweek boxing.
