I'm opposed to the whole anti-doping movement in the way it's been developed and insititutionalized over recent decades.
I think it's just been a complete waste of time and money and has opened the door to a whole load of problems and ethical issues that are worse than the problem it's allegedly been set up to combat.

I don't want to see unbridled abuse of PEDs for sports but even that situation might not be as bad as the abuse that the anti-doping system inflicts on fans and athletes alike.

The best solution would probably be for all sports governing bodies to register qualified doctors with specific knowledge of the sport and of the drugs. The registered doctors would be licenced to work with athletes, working within ethical guidelines, and overseen and reviewed by independent peers in the medical community.
    Or something like that.
