Which makes total sense considering he fought for damn near 20 years below that weight. Total sense. While we are at it...did you know Ivan Calderon's natural weight is CW??? Little known fact...yup, he just trains really hard to make the minimum.

    Im a big Calzaghe fan.

But his resume isnt as good as Nard's. Nard has a couple great wins- Tarver,Johnson And a lot of good wins-DLH,Wright,Trinidad

Whereas Cal has 2 great win-Kessler,Eubank a couple of good wins-Lacy,Manfredo( Itll look good in a couple of years)

I just can't help but think that Hopkins has the better resume.

The problem with this line of logic is that it assumes every jump up in weight is the same. There is a bit of a difference between a huge middleweight at his prime who has got too old to make the limit, fighting at 175 against a supermiddle to a welterweight like De La Fishnets at 160 who can STILL make 154 possibly even 147 when he is way past his peak. Big difference.

That's not even going into Wright, that was a ridiculous jump up in weight with little thought of letting his body adjust. Hopkins jump up in weight has been carefully executed, you only need to look at the team he employed to help him with that. I wouldn't expect you to realise the intricacies of weight jumping though, anything to have a pop at Calzaghe fans eh?

Trinidad had some reasonable success at MW, that was a much better win than the above

All that said, I don't give a **** how much credit Calzaghe gets. The Kessler fight was more important to me. I just can't wait to see the sudden influx of new members come April 19 :yep
