Who? Who thinks Cotto would have lost the same fight with a different venue? Besides you, who? Cotto clearly won that fight. I know you know he won that fight...come on. You know.

    Really? :blood

The consensus was that Cotto was a deserving winner and probably would have been regardless of venue.

At this point it's irrelevant if Floyd was forced to fight Shane or felt compelled to make that fight because he had no other credible options from a fan's perspective...

What truly counts is that the fight will take place and because of that Mayweather deserves respect.

If Mayweather beats Mosley, then it's his best win since his days prior to the 140lbs weight class. Mosley is a real live threat even at 38 and a win against him will truly add to FMJ's legacy.

You have a point but still that was not even Cotto's A game. Cotto does his best when coming forward. I think the Margarito fight even proved that much.

I think this will just come down to who is the sharpest. Mosley had the right time and place to get Margarito out of there but Mayweather is going to be like Cotto 2.0 come fight time. I can't see Mosley winning it.

Well, I think it's deluded to believe that all roads lead to Floyd but thats beseides the point. Floyd gets my respect, at least for the time being, for choosing to fight Mosely. Pacquaio going after a tough, legit WW in Clottey pressurred Floyd to take on someone legit himself. Very tough fight for Money. Will be tougher than the DLH fight by far. Mayweather has shown balls this time and Mosely-Mayweather is good for boxing.

Do you talk like this or you just practice really hard to sound naturally like a Floyd megaphone? :rofl

What are you talking about, Floyd needed this fight more than anything else! To you maybe not, you'd probably still be licking his ass if he chose Malignaggi. :nut

But to the whole boxing world, he'd be exposed for the cherrypicking he's done if he didn't take on a real challenge.

I give him credit for having the guts to say he's willing to take on Mosley.

Next, he has to sign. Finally, he'd have to get in that ring.

I don't see anyone complaining about this fight. Of course Floyd had a choice, but face it, there were very few other viable fights (money, marquee and availability) without jumping weights. He certainly wasn't going to fight anyone heavier and he'd look a ***** if he dragged another 'named' midget up to welterweight.
