Don't really understand all this hype. Cotto fought very well and beat martinez.. he fought very well and lost to floyd. It's as if now it's turned into cotto was bad the night he fought floyd, yet after the fight everyone said he'd put up a good fight, which he did. Floyd beats him again.
First of all , He didn't whoop Miguels ass . He outclassed him and clearly won in a competitive fight while drinking his own blood . Now MANNY on the other hand truly whoop Cotto ass . Now THATS what you call an ass whooping . Floyd was the one comtemplating retirement after fighting 12 rounds with Cotto despite him being the winner of the fight , that's tells you everything you need to know .
Of course he would beat him again. PBF is the better and more complete boxer and beats any version of Cotto.

Maidana and Cotto fight nothing alike and PBF still won. If that's the case Cotto couldn't get past Trout.
Cotto's main issue in the first fight was wasting too much time and energy pounding away at the air and arms of Floyd when Floyd's back was in a corner or on the ropes. The high level chess match that went on in the middle of ring was quite entertaining for a sweet science hor/slut like myself. Cotto would have more success going balls out during exchanges in the middle of the ring where he can force Floyd to be the aggressor....problem is its almost impossible to get Floyd to fall for any bait and trap. Still I wouldnt mind seeing the fight again....I liked it, much more aesthetically pleaseing than the Marco's WWF match.

Roger has a major battle in front of him right now and from now on and that has nothing to do with being on his nephew's corner, that is part of the past, uncle Roger or the Black Mamba has a family to raise and he needs desperately to set aside the crack pipe. His speech slurs, his walk is of a crippled, his brain is not working well, this is a serious situation, sure he's a great trainer, sure he's part of the family but you gat to look at the realities.
