    Eder Jofre

Every of his attacks depends of his jabs........His jabs were truly great set ups to his straight right hand or right uppercut......

And he was good outboxing opponents with his jab as well.....

McCallum, Toney. Fullmer had the ugliest jab ever but when he used it, it did work for him. Buddy McGirt had a great jab. Greg Haugen had a very effective jab when he was at his best.

Roy Jones actually had a good jab. Even if he didn't jab enough.

  7. Joe Calzaghe had a great jab.

I'm glad Greg Haugen has been mentioned. That 2nd fight with Pazienza was a masterpiece for him.

When he used it his jab was insane, very long, very heavy maybe harder than Listons? In the Chuvalo fight he was snapping Chuvalo's head back every time he hit with the jab.

Jake Lamotta was actually outjabbing SRR for a bit of their 6th fight despite it beign slower and with less reach. He always jabbed before he bored in.

Not sure what's what with this thread??? I thought it was about 'underrated' jabbers?? But everyones bringing up people who had well known good jabs?? Is it actually examples of fighters who don't generally get recognised for their jabs that we're looking for?? Michael Moorer's one was good I reckon that isn't exactly raved about

Mike Weaver and Duane Thomas. Weaver's thought of as a slugger, but watch his bout with Scott Ledoux. He puts on a clinic. As for Thomas, he threw one of the hardest jabs ever. Not in 2's and 3s. Just one's and it was jolting.
