Feel free to tell us why the record impresses you. As of 1993 Julian Jackson was 45-1, with 42 knockouts. Amazing stuff. Devastating wins over Herol Graham and Terry Norris, a masterclass performance against 41-1 In-Chul Baek... No ****, Jackson boxed the guy before knocking him out. Showed good movement, a very nice jab. He could have gone 12 and shut out Baek that night when he won the title. You can really tell how his deteriorating eyesight turned him from a competent boxer to a hail Mary puncher. So, what've you got?
Manny Ortiz - Longtime bantamweight champion, something like 20 title defenses overall (back when there were only about 8 weight classes and one world title in each), also won a sh*tload of non-title fights in between. I don't remember the exact numbers, but for a long time the only man to beat him in that time was Willie Pep up at featherweight. Ortiz is a vastly underrated fighter IMO.
Roy Jones Jnr - Clinton Woods, Eric Lucas, Julio Gonzalez were tomato cans at the time but "world champs" in the future...
Tommy Gibbons. 106 recorded fights. Many were No-Decisions, but it appears he won almost all of them. Many ringsiders thought he beat Harry Greb in two fights. Greb, Dempsey, Tunney and Billy Miske were probably the only men to beat him, and I think the Miske loss was a DQ (but I'm not sure whether he was getting beat in that fight or not, regardless he beat Miske on other occasions). Was only KO'd once (his last fight, v.Tunney). I'm not sure he was even floored prior to that. Went 15 rounds with Dempsey. Fought Battling Levinsky, George Chip, Frank Farmer, Kid Norfolk, Georges Carpentier, Willie Meehan, Bob Roper. Was a contender at middle, light-heavy and heavyweight.

George Chuvalo -- yes he lost pretty much everytime he tried to step up, but he was a top 10 HW for over 15 years during a pretty strong era, and his resume is a veritable who's who of 60's and 70's heavyweights.
