Understanding Lineage when the Lineal Champion brings the sport into disrepute

The TBRB shows that the WW championship is vacant.

If the winner of Floyd-Maidana and the winner of Bradley-Pac fight each other, the winner of that fight will the the lineal champion.

 

if mayweather refuses to do business with the promotional company that represent bradley or pacquaio, that should automatically crown the pacquaio-bradley winner as the Lineal Title holder.

 

If Herrera is the new lineal champ after getting robbed by Garcia, would Matthysse be the new lineal champ if he knocked out Herrera?

Here's another question about this whole "lineal championship" thing: One of the rules is that the lineal championship can only be won or lost in the ring, right? But some people say that if the title is vacated, the #1 and #2 fight each other, and the winner is the new lineal champ. But doesn't that contradict the whole "man who beat the man" concept?

Lineage is not what it used to be and hardly carries any weight. Once fights starting getting made based on the revenue it would bring in, that lineal **** was out the door. Promoters started hyping up fighters and hyping up the casuals who spend the most money into believing their hype job is the one then that's what they wanted to see. Every body knows that money talks and bull**** walks. Right now, being lineal is bull****. They can strip Floyd of all his titles and he will still draw more people than any fighter out there including all the so called lineal champs. The reason is, people know who the real champ is.:bbb

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Edwin Rodriguez the lineal light heavyweight champion?
