I personaly don`t hate Ward. I don`t like him either. He is not fun to watch and I belive he has 40-60 against Bute, if the fight is in New York
It's tough to say how much Ward will gain from this fight experience wise because from what I've seen of him and his body language, Andre genuinely likes that kind of fight. Since he's already comfortable fighting that way, I don't know how much new he'll get from it. As you said though, it's good to win a tough fight like that if for no other reason than to stay ready. Bika's too good for me to call it a stay busy fight and Ward knows he was in a fight, but Andre made the right choice fighting a tough fight now as opposed to being inactive. I'm not sure how much Bika will help him if Froch decides to counterpunch and make Andre press the fight instead of engaging in the grueling style of fight Andre thrives in. Froch can do both, but I think he'll try to use his range, reflexes, and countering to try and force Andre out of his usual comfort zone. How Ward reacts to that will be the key.
Ward didn't back down when faced with adversity of being cut and elbowed, someone mentally weaker like Juan Diaz would have. He is more than ready for Carl Froch. Also, Bika-Green how long does Allan last?
Ward is horrible **** to watch. He is going to be the man at 168 granted that but jesus he is just bad to watch. He will never be Boxing star and i am Glad for it.:yep
This fight shows how overrated the current SMW division is compared to the previous generation. Most of you guys probably made fun of Bika when Calzaghe fought him, and still recently mocked JC's resume of having fought Bika. Calzaghe was in command when he fought Bika. This one was a really close fight even if the scorecards said it wasn't. And this Bika is much older than the one Calzaghe fought. He also got beat down hard by Bute way before this.
