Urango previously got up from a right hand from one of the hardest hitters in the history of the division.

He broke the jaw of Herman Ngoudjo and outpointed him in his home town.

Lost on points to Berto at the higher weight.

Devon Alexander showed his ability. This has no bearing on Hattons standing, Urango was never going to be a dominant champion.

Hopefully Bradley vs Alexander is next. If Valero can prove himself at 140 against Lamont Peterson (doubtful IMO) then Alexander/Bradley have even more incentive to win.

On an Alexander-Bradley fight, I go for Bradley on points. More proven thus far IMO, but this was a very good win for Alexander. I'm immediately much more of a believer following this, I felt Urango would stop him late.

    :deal

Seems to me to be another thread trying to discredit Hattons achievements in some way shape or form.

    I kind of doubt this.

The old 'open with a compliment then rip the **** outta fighter' technique. An ESB classic.

It's funny how after every Urango victory it improved Hatton's standing but now that he's lost twice in a row it means nothing! Miraculous.

Nah, its not a matter of "all or nothing". Hattons win over Urango is what it is. A good win against a good 140lber.

I have to admit though, him and Paulie kicking arse at 140 must have been a PITA to the Hatton haters?

Why are you asking me?

The Urango gravy train is up. Halted. I remember your tongue in cheek comments after his victories over Vilches and Ngoudjo, however a few were serious :blurp

I'm looking forward to Paulie against Khan too.

So, in the year 2010, when all of Hattons victims have been defeated you'll be a happy man?

Both Urango and Paulie have been proven to be very good wins for Hatton. Them not being able to finish the rest of their careers undefeated doesn't really change that.:-:)p
