US PPV numbers for GGG - Canelo?

Rick Glaser is saying it did 700k buys.

 

Fat Dan said HBO is bullish that it did 2 million or more in the US.

 

Twitter say a little over the Chavez fight.

So 1million 97 thousand

 

Roughly what I expected from him, he had Canelo-Chavez Jr at 650k.

Twitter is saying 2M ppv buys, but I don't believe that for an instance. It will be over 1M but not over 1.5M.

 

Loeffler says that they are "well over" the Canelo-Chavez numbers.

My prediction of 1.2-1.3M is looking really good.

 

The discrepancy of estimates is ridiculous.

 

1.7x whatever Glaser says and .6x whatever ODLH says.

Hope it's done a million but just talking to folk I know they all watched that stupid psy op with Floyd n McGregor and yet when I mention GGG v Canelo they've no idea what I'm on about,Canelo has a large fan base as does GGG but neither have that household name like A Joshua,Mike Tyson,Lennox Lewis,only boxing fans will know either so I really hope it's done well as they were up against with Floyd v McGregor.

Canelo is a household name.

34 Million households in MX, and you know Mexicans have big families.

 

Ok for sure in Mexico I've no doubt that's true as I've seen him shooting commercials but you know what I mean in the US and Europe he's only known to fans of boxing.
Clearly though to fill out a huge baseball stadium against a guy like Smith is very impressive
