Usyk can punch but he lacks a little bit of ruthlessness imo. He could finish both Joshua in the first bout and Fury.
He can punch in the same sense that Andre Ward and Tim Bradley can punch and that they are more punchers than Malignaggi, he can punch, certainly. They used to talk about how Ali couldn't hit, and I think heaviest shot for heaviest shot he probably hits harder than Usyk and while he wasn't a puncher, he could punch. He can punch. He's not a puncher.
I thought that was an odd thing for Fury to say. Did Usyk give Fury brain damage hitting him with all those shots and the ropes holding him up? I read that Fury say that he was nervous about brain damage from the lumps on his head after his fight with Wilder.
He’s a world class heavy. Not a big puncher at all by those standards but certainly carries more than enough power to ko anyone.
I don't want to see the puny 224lb cruiserweight beating up anymore 250lb behemoths, it's just too disturbing to watch.
