I don't agree. I don't think he is a good heavyweight. Chisora throws wide looping punches that he could evade pretty easily for the most part.
I think he loses to Parker, Ruiz, Rivas, & of course Fury, AJ.
They will all go straight at him throwing much straighter punches in bunches and some of them will catch him.
When Holyfield went up to heavyweight he met his opponents head-on, not this running around the ring nonsense we are seeing from Usyk

We'll find out soon. But time is running out for Usyk. He relies on athleticism and he's aging. So he has to move quickly in his career.

Yeah man, I'm not saying he is rubbish & I know some people will get all fired up over this. But I just don't think he is a top 10 heavyweight. Haye banged out a much younger Chisora pretty easily. Some of the comments on here that he is going to take over the division, that he could beat Ali, are just ridiculous when you look at his two fights in the heavyweight division so far.

He needs to get his title shot soon.
Boxed nicely tonight, shook off some rust, had to adjust to Chisoras tactics and put in a solid performance.

The only difference between what Haye did and Uysk did was a bell got in the way. Chisora was gone for all money at the bell.

Don't often see Chisora flopping and bopping like that..

I saying this yes Usyk will need some more levels when fighting the top guys..

Oh and FU David Haye getting me thinking Chisora had a shot..

The way he fights reminds me of Vitali. He doesn't sit down on his punches unless he feels very secure. But he has power when he chooses to use it (Bellew). In the meantime, he's content to box and win rounds.

Unlike Vitali, however, he's not a giant and he can't think he has Vitali's chin.

Clock is running on him. He has to make his moves fast. I respect his ability, but he has limits. I think he thought tonight Chisora would fade after he hurt him in the middle rounds. But it didn't happen so he just had to keep banking rounds.

Yeah, his clinches and inside fighting are pretty poor compared to the rest of his game. He lets himself get manhandled too easily on the inside, and dips down too much. Against Fury he'd get mauled and leant on mercilessly. He needs to improve his strength work in pivoting fighters off him when they close distance. That'd complement the rest of his game nicely.

Is Povetkin not a top ten HW? Did Povetkin not recently fight a disputed draw against Hunter? Did Hunter not get totally outclassed by Usyk?

    ?

Haye leveled a rampaging Chisora in the 5th, bell or no bell, Usyk wobbled a gassing Chisora in the 7th.

Haye did it when Chisora was 28, and never before been KO'd.

Usyk did it when Chisora was 36, and has been dropped and KO'd multiple of times.

    Plenty of meaningful differences there.

Think people Are clutching at straws big time with Usyk, it’s Joshua and Fury and nobody else.

Totally, what’s worrying is people are calling that a good performance, truth is it was underwhelming and he looked pretty uncomfortable early on. I like usyk but It’s like come on guys let’s just tell it like it is.

“AJ sucks on the inside.” Ehm tell that to Povetkin, Wlad, Whyte and Breazeale who he seemed to hurt and stop from inside punches. He even dropped granite chin Ruiz with an inside combo. Start putting respect on AJ’s name.

My only reply is that fans of boxers often underestimate Chisora for some reason. I've never seen him in a boring fight of his own doing and he is a great contender of this era which he proved tonight that Usyk aint that guy yet. Wilder ducked him and so did AJ because of this reason. Always game.
