A meltdown?!? Give me a break FFS. That's basically what you WANT to believe.

That's because it's richmondpete. Look at his posts regarding Usyk. He's just a usyk hater that offers absolutely nothing of substance. He's essentially useless here when it comes to actual boxing knowledge or discussion

Depends how plus 40's. When you are 40+, every extra year is like an eternity. Physical decline past 40 is brutal.
41 year old Foreman that fought Cooney has a decent chance to land the knockout punch early. Usyk sort of heats up as the fight progresses. Usyk is also very upright, primarily using his feet and angles as defense. Foreman could put some early hurt on him and win.
The 45 year old Foreman that beat Moorer, does not have much of a chance. He's too slow and Usyk doesn't stand still long enough to set up the trap for the a KO.

40s Foreman was certainly slower than he was prime but he was also stronger and had higher ring IQ. I rate Usyk but the jury is still out on his hw credentials. I doubt current Chisora would stop Mooorer who in 94 was a prime unbeaten 27 y/o with a solid KO record. I doubt Usyk gets a stoppage either. Moorer could easily go life and death with both of them.

Not sure who would win, but George was one of the best ever at cutting off the ring. Sooner or later Usyk would be right in front of him, but who knows really?

Foreman would be ponderously plodding forward swinging wild haymakers while Usyk dances around him peppering him with weakish but stinging blows. Except for a few hairy moments when Foreman manages to pin Usyk briefly to the ropes and unload with a few gigantic body blows the whole fight unfolds in the same pattern. Usyk UD, with Foreman needing his shades for the post fight interview.

Hyperbole or are you being serious?
I wouldn't say Chisora is "shot". Is Whyte or Wilder (his mind maybe) - two top HWs - "shot" b/c they've lost recently. One by a retiree and the other brutally by a big, bald dude. People exaggerate thinking it makes their argument stronger. It doesn't. In the current era I wouldn't call 36 as old, it's getting there but old is a stretch. Of course people age at different rates. Chisora has some miles on the odometer but not sure he's shot yet.

Vitali K was ancient by your standards (40+) and still beating other HWs. So was his "little" bro when he gave a young, top HW champ quite a fight. 36, and 40, today isn't the same as it was a generation or two ago.

To say that because Chisora, who put a ton of pressure and volume on Usyk, gave him trouble means Foreman, who fought almost opposite of that in his comeback, would too is a stretch. I've not seen enough of Usyk at HW, but his style is bad for George. To say "no doubt George finds him and often" is baseless. I can see George winning but he a Chisora fight nothing alike.

Easy knockout for Foreman, probably first or second round, would definitely win Rings KO of the Year

Foreman could come back TODAY and with one swooping bolo punch send Usyk back home.

Damn even now I get emotional just watching some highlights of the 70's golden fighters. Born and bred fighting men. A thing of beauty.

This isn't Dragonball Z where Foreman has OVER 9000 POWER and Chisora only 6000 so he beats Usyk. Chisora swarmed and pressured Usyk and was much, much more mobile than the static Foreman. The feet are where this fight will be decided, and Foreman doesn't have them at this stage of his career.

Depends how Usyk handles Foreman's power. Sure Usyk has a good chin, but we are talking Foreman here, he lands enough shots and anyone goes down.

But styles makes fights and I do think Usyk has a style that is problematic for an old Foreman. Usyk won't stand and trade like Holyfield and Moorer did at times, he'll jab, move, countering Foreman whenever he opens up and win a decision like Morrison did or Schultz did if he hadn't of been robbed.
