Heres the thing about this match up. Joshua had success with pressuring Usyk and going to the body. Usyk in his own words said Joshua's bodyshots had affect.

The rounds Joshua did that were practically the only rounds he won. I saw this live and was perplexed as to why Joshua just stopped doing it for some reason and went back to boxing like an idiot. Joshua probably doesn't have the gas tank or the confidence to walk Usyk down and go to the body all night. Bowe does. In addition to this Bowe would get rough in the clinches and would also be going to the body in the clinches. He was a mosnter infighter. Bowe had trouble with tubbs but that was a lot earlier in his career, he was much more of a pressure fighter against Larry Donald later on, and Larry Donald did nothing but run around the ring.

I'm not so confident Usyk beats him. Maybe he would. Usyk certainly proved me wrong but his vulnerabilities in the Joshua fights leads me to believe Bowe would be a far harder match up than mr gunshy glass jawed Joshua.

I think Bowe is underappreciated, as well as Holyfield.

This fantasy match-up better be a non-title fight. Daddy Bowe likes to throw belts in the trash.

Bowe got his arse handed to him by Golota twice.. its just that EH trilogy that sets him apart here… Holyfield fights nothing like Usyk tho.. In fact Bowe didn't have a great history with the Soviet types… Golota, Shanavazov & Miroshnichenko.. Bowe looked brilliant against an ATG cant take that away from him but doesn't mean he replicates it against a completely different style like Usyk..

Not necessarily. Moorer & Ruiz beat Holyfield. Yet they failed against lesser accomplished HWs. Styles.

During the rematch Bowe outboxed Golota in the 3rd and dropped golota in the 4th and was beating him up in the until Golota starting fouling relentlessly and even had Bowe on the ground from a nutshot. Those take energy out of you. Bowe was ahead on the cards in the rematch until Golota started nutshotting him with combinations

It makes sense too because Bowe was overweight in the first fight and came in at 235 in the rematch and performed better. People just throw this stuff under the rug

    Usyk vs Ali
    Usyk vs Tyson
    Usyk vs Lewis
    Usyk vs God

It's only a couple of days after he won the titles and already people are having to resort to hypothetical match up threads of him vs the greats to try and discredit him. He's definitely doing something right

Even if he went on a 100-0 (100 KOs) run against every top contender in the division in their backyards many would still pick him to lose to HWs of previous generations and not give him a hope in hell against the greats.

Golota completely dominated Bowe before before DQ`d.

Golota beat the crap out of Bowe, Futch stopped training Bowe after the first fight with Golota because Bowe was out of shape again, he slimmed down drastically for the rematch but still got punched all over the place, after these fights Bowe developed slurred speech and now has pugilistic dementia.

Usyk is a special fighter, none of the above fighters you mentioned beat a fighter as good as Usyk, except God.

So because your glass chinned baby daddy Anthony Joshua couldn't beat Usyk, nobody else can ?

Usyk struggled with the pressure from Breidis and even Chisoras slow flat footed ass gave him a bit of trouble with his pressure. How is he going to cope with Mike Tyson ?

Usyk is incredible but lets see him beat more top heavyweights before we call him a H2H nightmare.

I would think the judges had Bowe up by 1 point when the 4th ended because even if you take into account the clear first round for Golota and the knockdown Golota scored in the second. Bowe arguably took the 3rd round, scored a big knockdown in the 4th and Golota got a point deducted for obviously headbutting in one of the previous rounds. He also got a point deducted for nutshotting Bowe. The 4th round was when Golota started punching Bowe in the nuts. Golota was getting pretty beat up before then so had Golota not fouled numerous times and hurt Bowe with nutshots i think Bowe would have won.

He wasn't ahead on the cards before the disqualification but at the end of the 4th a ton of fans scorecards and my own had him up by 1. Don't know what the judges scored round by round though.

Cool Hand Luke over here.

I deleted the post almost immediately after posting it, realizing my mistake. You are correct, he was up on 2 scorecards after 4.

Chisora cut off Usyk`s escape route by grabbing his left arm all the time for the first six rounds until the ref warned him, after that he got his ears boxed off, look how Hide gave Bowe the run around until he got caught.
