Go way will you that was about 10 years ago (7-8 maybe really) and not only that Fury gave Klitchsko a lesson. And I dont think Furys a better boxer than Usyk by any stretch of the imagination but too big and I cant see Usyk getting inside early enough to win rounds, if he does fury holds and leans on him
That's a real good point. Usyk plays chess in there. Figures his opponent out and then adapts. He does that as well as anybody his size I've seen. But...if he is forced to go all out early...how does he deal with that??? There was a story about Lennox vs Golota. Lennox and Golota had sparred extensively earlier in their careers. They knew each other. Lennox knew Golota could be dangerous once he got rolling but was a slow starter. He jumped on him before Golota got untracked. Smart move Lennox. I'm not saying Usyk is Golota but how Usyk deals with early heavy pressure at HW remains to be seen.
I've never seen someone's stock drop so quickly after winning a fight so easily. Never change, boxing fans.
That's ok, it's going to be fun seeing Usyk stomp all over some people's hopes and dreams fight after fight
I think that to win is no necessary to be a ko artist.. its enough the technique and a solid chin (see Fury). The question is Usyk's chin has not yet been tested in the HWs.
